I'm playing my first one of these for €3. Not a great lot of sense since my bankroll can't afford a lot of buy ins.
"Chipleader" on my table bought in 18 times just to have a stack, that's a lot of buy ins, he needs to get to the final table before he gets his money back. On the other hand, sitting on min. stack like I am needs a couple of double ups to get any playable chips. Although if you play a load of these, one win will more than compensate for a load of min. stack losses.
What are your thoughts on optimal strategy for these?

I went out just before the break, I doubled up a few times but was eventually knocked out to a bigger stack. Its all pre flop poker, all in or fold and more of a gable than a skill. The guy who had bought in 18 times was well below chip leader when I left, if I was to play this again I'd probably buy in a few times but not stack up 18 times.
