Especially if he can read the deck like he reads UK National Lottery!
This was broadcast live last night (he is going to reveal how he did it tomorrow night on Channel 4). Anyone got any ideas how he did it? :confused:

It's never going to have been camera trics such as a split screen being used. Derren is the master of mis-direction, but i can't think how he has misdirected us this time. Will find out on Friday night when he reveals how he (and you !!) can do it yourself !!!

Makes sense. The TV was switched ON by someone standing with a remote probably, yet he turns it OFF himself and then pauses before walking over to the numbers, giving his assistant time to put the numbers in order as he reads them out.

No chance on earth that its this.
He uses distraction and misdirection a lot but not in a cheating way such as camera tricks. Like i said, i'd bet my last fiver that it wasn't a camera trick.

I think he may explain it away another way but there's very little else it can be.
If you look at the original footage at 5:47 you can see the shot jump. He makes sure to pause on a mark and then continues. I reckon this is to synch up with pre-recorded footage of the balls on the left which is removed to reveal live footage or the correct ones which have just been placed there.
The hand over the mouth thing looks pretty dodgy too!
Its damn slick and I love the guy but he's not good enough to hit a 14,000,000 to 1 shot :)

Anyone see the show on Friday?
Have to say I was very disappointed, the whole wisdom of crowds thing is so ridiculous that it will only appeal to a tiny percentage of those watching and it all smacked of him being a smart aleck taking the piss out of gullible people who arent as clever as him.
Even worse I thought the whole thing was incredibly boring!
Did I miss something?

An hour of my life that I will never get back.
The man is a liar and a charlatan. We all know how he did it, the programme was merely a diversion to make the gullible people you mention think he actually did it with the crowds thing (where's that eye-roll smiley?).
Nothing more than a publicity stunt for both Camelot and himself, there will be groups of 24 all over the country plotting a Lottery win and boosting sales in the process. Quite sad.
I used to like his stuff before, but now i'm wondering how much of it was actually real and not another one of his stunts.
The highlight of the show for me was his comment on the bonus ball... "for women and gays"... Coming from him!!!!

This fridays show should be interesting. Using subliminal messages (transfer me €10) to try and get people (transfer me €10) to do things they normally (transfer me €10) wouldn't. Should be good.
Have to say i was so disappointed with Fridays show about the lottery. Its so far out. Could it be that he is going the way of David Blaine etc. His old stuff is great but feels the need to be bigger and better----- which never works.

Aye is this the one that claims to stick you to your couch? Will watch it again probably but no subliminal messages will stop me from getting off the couch to turn it off if it's as bad as last weeks!!!
